    Destynee K. Arnold

    Southeastern University

     

    Southeastern University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. After careful consideration, she has decided to attend the University of South Florida College of Pharmacy!  Destynee is looking forward to taking another step closer to pursuing her dream of becoming a pharmacist.

    AAO Scholarship Foundation HALL OF FAME inductee and all future inductees (2016 and moving forward) will have had to qualify for induction into the HOF by renewing the AAO Scholarship 3 consecutive years after winning the award the first year out of a Polk County high school. Note: Minimum requirements to renew the AAO Scholarship is a  3.0 GPA and 12 credit hours each semester enrolled with continued moral and honorable leadership on campus and within the community.

    Brianna Whitman was a most commendable student-athlete AAO Scholarship winners in June of 2012 after graduating from George Jenkins High School-Lakeland. She created a very extraordinary GPA all 4 years and was inducted into the NHS. She sustained an almost season ending muscle tear injury that interrupted her competitive synchronized swimming schedule her senior season. After an extensive and difficult recuperation, she persevered and returned to competition to lead the team to many district medals.

    AAO Scholarship Foundation HALL OF FAME inductee and all future inductees (2016 and moving forward) will have had to qualify for induction into the HOF by renewing the AAO Scholarship 3 consecutive years after winning the award the first year out of a Polk County high school.     The Board of Directors announced the following student-athlete has qualified by achieving four consecutive years in all academic, social and moral respects to be inducted into the AAO Scholarship Foundation Hall of Fame and will be acknowledged for her admirable accomplishments.

Taylor is a very deserving student-athlete and has shown extreme financial need.  Earning a 3.1 GPA and participating in varsity sports, extra-curricular school activities, shows his ability to be a part of a team and earn success in competition at the high school level.  His attitude and ability to play football in spite of injuries and health concerns shows his love for the sport. His career choice indicates his understanding of how sports increase self-confidence and self-esteem.
